Equility Capital employs unique investor relations and marketing communications techniques, proven over many years, that significantly streamline the initial investor contact process, without having to spend time and money on costly lunches and presentations.
In addition, we have unique and preferred access to a number of funding sources that have been developed in response to the failed venture capital and private equity 'old model' funding methods.
We will consider any deal that we will feel comfortable presenting to our investors. We carry out the same triage process, based on three key tests, as investors themselves. They are:
Your executive summary is pivotal to initiating interest in your proposition. This process, and the rules that go with them apply across all markets and currencies from start-ups to 1bn+ property developments. It is therefore essential that you give time and thought assembling your executive summary if you are going to make an impression on prospective funders.
Fees
We will sometimes request an EDDP (Engagement and Due Diligence Protection) fee. This is negotiated on a case-by-case basis depending on how much work is required to prepare your documentation up to 'investor ready' standard. Also to ensure that efforts expended by Equility Capital do not fail at the last hurdle because of something that comes to light through investors’/lenders’ due diligence, and of which we were not made aware. The EDDP fee is refunded on completion of funding.
